Arsenal eye 31-goal Man United target as possible Benzema alternative
Arsenal have reignited interest in Manchester United target Edinson Cavani following a halt in talks to sign Real Madrid star Karim Benzema, according to reports from the Express. The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League ever since the start of the summer, but the switch was played down after he was promised a bigger role by current club Paris Saint-Germain. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has made Benzema his top target, but isn’t willing to pay Real’s demands of £35million plus.
