Per Mertesacker Admits Transfer Mega Spending Sure To Continue
It has been revealed that Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker can't see the transfer spending bubble bursting. The German international was asked if he was surprised by the size of the fee Manchester City paid Liverpool for Raheem Sterling. Mertesacker told transfermarkt.de: 'Who sets the rate, what is normal? 'It has become a huge business that revolves around football. I've given up thinking in the categories of normal or abnormal.
