Arsenal Stepping Up Pursuit Of Real Madrid Winger Denis Cheryshev
According to reports in Spain, Arsenal have entered into discussions over Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev. Spanish newspaper AS Diario reported that the Gunners are looking to make a £15million move for the Russian winger who has rarely featured at the Santiago Bernabeau. Liverpool are reportedly also interested in Cheryshev, but these latest reports suggest that Arsenal have taken the lead in the chase for his signature. The 24-year-old spent last season on loan with Villarreal and recently travelled to Asia and Australia for Real's pre-season tour, scoring in the 4-1 drubbing of Manchester City in Melbourne.
