Barcelona To Rival Arsenal For Bayer Leverkusen Star Lars Bender
It has been reported that Bayer Levekusen midfielder Lars Bender is emerging as a major figure for this summer's Barcelona election. Despite their 2015 transfer ban, candidates for the Barca presidency will seek potential signings to add to their ticket for the summer election. BTV says Bender's camp have been contacted by representatives of Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu. He wants to have the German's commitment for 2016. The midfielder is tied to Bayer until 2019 and rated in the 30 million class.
