Arsene Wenger Determined To Sign Real Madrid Striker Karim Benzema
It has been reported that Arsene Wenger has told Arsenal chiefs: It's Benzema or bust. AS claims that the Arsenal manager has been offered a raft of striker targets by club directors, but he's made it clear he only wants Karim Benzema. Wenger is determined to land the Real Madrid ace before the market shuts next month – and has been backed by the Gunners board. Arsenal have set aside 65 million to make a deal happen. But Real will take some convincing to part with the Frenchman, with coach Rafa Benitez happy to go with the BBC – Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo – as his attack this season.
