Aaron Ramsey eyeing Arsenal captaincy
Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he harbours hopes of one day captaining Arsenal. The 24-year-old midfielder was given the armband in the Gunners' recent friendly victory over Boreham Wood. Having spent seven years in North London, Ramsey now believes that he is in a position to skipper his side after gaining experience in the role with national side Wales in the past. "I've made a load of appearances now, I definitely feel one of the leaders, but I feel this group of players all have their own leadership skills," he told N. "It was nice to be given the armband, even though it was just a pre-season friendly, but it's something I would like to do one day, to be captain....
