Arsenal flop snubs West Brom in favour of Ligue 1 switch
Arsenal flop Abou Diaby has rejected a contract offer from West Bromwich Albion in favour of a move to Marseille, according to reports from the Express. The 29-year-old was released by the Gunners following a very disappointing career where he was unable to overcome a number of injury problems. He often spent the majority of his time sidelined, greatly limiting his game time over the past 10 years with the club. Earlier in his career, Diaby was even tipped to be the perfect midfield replacement for Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, but eventually failed to live up to his expectations due to his inability to stay fit.
