Arsenal make ‘significant' offer to sign Barcelona midfielder Busquets
Gunners eye commanding Barca ace. Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a ‘significant' bid to sign Barcelona youngster Oriol Busquets, no relation of Sergio, this summer, according to the Metro. The 16-year-old could follow in the footsteps of players like Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin in swapping the Catalan club for north London, with first-team opportunities and the chance for development not always guaranteed at the Nou Camp. Arsenal have only made one major signing so far this summer, bringing in Czech Republic goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea, and it could be that Arsene Wenger's next move will be to look to youth.
