Olivier Giroud tells Arsene Wenger to sign a striker
Olivier Giroud has urged Arsene Wenger to sign a striker this summer. Giroud, currently Arsenal's first-choice forward, said he would welcome the arrival of another leading striker to add to Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez. Wenger has said he will only enter the transfer market again this summer if he finds an exceptional player. He has regularly been linked with Real Madrid's French striker Karim Benzema but he said he had no current plans to sign him. Giroud, however, said: “If there is another striker it will be nice for all the team because competition is good for everyone."
