[Video] Arsenal squad arrive in Singapore to rapturous reception
The Arsenal squad arrived in Singapore to a deafening reception from the native fans, with the long flight over as we prepare for the Barclays Asia Trophy. Arsene Wenger has just over 48 hours before he names his team to take on a Singapore XI in our first pre-season fixture ahead of the new campaign. Rather worryingly, we only have four pre-season fixtures before our first competitive game against Chelsea in the Community Shield. It explains why the boss has taken such a strong squad on the tour, with the likes of Mesut Özil, Santi Cazorla, and Aaron Ramsey named in the squad despite just returning from their holidays.
