[Video] Lukas Podolski signs off Galatasaray deal by sipping Turkish tea
Lukas Podolski was presented to the media as a Galatasaray player on Saturday afternoon and after penning his new contract, the German signed off the presentation by sipping some Turkish tea, known to the natives as çay (Chai). After spending the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan, Podolski has now left on a permanent basis in a deal worth an initial £1.8m (via BBC Sport). The 30-year-old has also penned a three-year-deal with the Turkish champions, as BBC Sport reports, ending his three-year stay with us.
