Arsenal On The Brink Of Announcing The Signing Of Petr Cech
It has been revealed that Arsenal could announce the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech today. The Telegraph reported that Arsenal are due to announce on Monday that they have signed Cech from Chelsea in a deal worth £11million. Agreement has been reached for the goalkeeper to end his glittering 11-year career at Chelsea. Cech passed his medical at Arsenal on Friday after a fee and personal terms were negotiated. The move is an extraordinary gesture by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich who promised the 33-year-old that he could move to the club of his choice after spending a season as Thibaut Courtois's under-study.
