Lukas Podolski confirms 'lucrative' Galatasaray offer
Lukas Podolski has confirmed that he is currently weighing up a "lucrative offer" from Turkish club Galatasaray. The Arsenal striker, who spent the second half of the 2014-15 campaign on loan at Inter Milan, has been linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer. The German international told Turkish publication Sabah: "I grew up in a Turkish area and know a bit of Turkish. Champions League football is a must and Galatasaray have made a lucrative offer." The 30-year-old recently described his spell in Serie A as "a mistake".
