Highlights: Arsenal beaten at home by Everton
We slipped to a disappointing home defeat to Everton on Friday night after an own goal by Bernd Leno. We started brightly and Bukayo Saka had a snapshot saved after good build-up play, before Leno made a full-length diving save to deny Richarlison on the half-hour mark during a tightly-contested first half.
We were awarded a penalty in the second half when Dani Ceballos was tripped in the box by Richarlison, but Nicolas Pepe was adjudged to be offside and it was chalked off by VAR.
