Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool 'could be banned' from Champions League
Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool could be among several clubs to be banned from the Champions League should they agree to join a breakaway European Super League. UEFA and Fifa have slammed the plans while insisting that teams and players that take part could be banned from playing in the the Champions League as well as European Championships and World Cups. With an announcement set to take place on Sunday evening, English, Spanish and Italian sides are said to have signed up with German and French clubs not involved.
