Lucas Torreira’s agent may have scuppered Arsenal’s January transfer plans after his latest comments on the midfielder. The Gunners let their Uruguayan star go on loan to Atletico Madrid in October while Thomas Partey went the other way in a separate deal. It has now been a strong spell for the 24-year-old, though, as he has made nine appearances that total just 213 minutes of play. This led to speculation that Diego Simeone would be willing to let Torreira return to north London in January.
