Jerome Boateng 'surprised' by Premier League talk
Bayern Munich centre-back Jerome Boateng has admitted that he has been left "surprised" by the recent speculation surrounding his future. The 32-year-old has spent the last nine years with Bayern, making close to 350 appearances in all competitions, winning eight Bundesliga titles and two Champions League trophies in the process. The Germany international's contract at the Allianz Arena will expire next summer, though, and there have been suggestions that he could seek pastures new. Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have recently been credited with an interest, but the experienced defender has insisted that he has not thought about potentially leaving the treble winners....
