Arsenal identify Aouar transfer alternative after failing to sign Lyon ace
Arsenal have identified an alternative target to Houssem Aouar after missing out on the Frenchman in the transfer window. The Gunners made big improvements to their squad over the summer, leaving it to the last minute to land Thomas Partey. He joined along with the likes of Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes and Dani Ceballos, who signed on loan for another season. But the one Mikel Arteta wanted the most was Aouar, who he was determined to sign. His obsession began as Manchester City coach when they played Lyon in the Champions League.
