Arsenal Target Ron Vlaar Released By Aston Villa
The Express has reported that Arsenal and Man Utd are both interested in free agent Ron Vlaar. The former Villa skipper was on the Premier League's list of released players which came out this week after he refused to sign a contract extension at Villa Park. Arsenal and Manchester United have recently been linked with a move for Vlaar and the latest news confirms that either club can sign the Holland international on a free. Further reports suggest that Villa boss Tim Sherwood has identified departing Manchester City defender Micah Richards as Vlaar's replacement.
