Gabriel Magalhaes’ agent talks Arsenal transfer, decision, project and money
Arsenal are about to sign Gabriel Magalhaes and his agent admits they did not offer the player a particularly attractive financial package. Napoli, PSG and Manchester United were all chasing the Lille defender too over the past few weeks. But the Gunners have won the race to sign Gabriel, 22, who underwent a medical in London on Monday. He will have to quarantine for the new two weeks due to regulations in the UK with travelling in from France at present. Arsenal will still be delighted, though, to have got the deal over the line, having persuaded Gabriel a move to the Emirates Stadium was his best option.
