Zak Swanson joins MVV Maastricht on loan
Zak Swanson has joined Dutch side MVV Maastricht on loan for the 2020/21 season. The 19-year-old defender joined us at the age of six, progressed through our Hale End academy and became a key part of our under-18 and under-23 squads before signing his first professional contract in April 2019. A versatile defender, Zak has played at both left and right back, as well as in midfield. He played a key role in our under-18s title-winning season in 2018/19 and made a total of 16 appearances in Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy during the 2019/20 season.
