Arsenal Ready To Compete For Aston Villa's Christian Benteke
It has been reported that Arsenal are ready to compete for Aston Villa centre-forward Christian Benteke. The Mail on Sunday claims that Arsenal are set to challenge Liverpool and Tottenham for Benteke if a move for Porto’s Jackson Martinez does not materialise. Benteke led Villa's attack against the Gunners in the 4-0 defeat in the FA Cup final but is set to be sold by the Midlands club. It is understood Benteke’s buy out clause is around £32million.
