Arsenal Chasing Metz Prospect Nicolas Basin
It has been reported that Newcastle United remain in the hunt for Metz prospect Nicolas Basin. Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with the teenage striker this season. With Basin yet to sign pro terms with Metz, he remains available and Foot Mercato says Newcastle remain in contact. A source close to the player's camp says they expect Newcastle to make an offer this week. Basin is currently the star of Metz's U17 youth team.
