Alexis named PFA Fans' Player of the Year
If only the Premier League could be won by asking football fans to vote. Arsenal would definitely win. Every time. On Sunday night Jack Wilshere secured Match of the Day's ‘goal of the season' vote with a strike that at the time of broadcast still had the Clock End net rippling. While lovely, it's fair to say his half volley against West Brom – which scooped a whopping 34.7% of the vote despite being scored just hours earlier – probably didn't deserve the accolade. Just for good measure it was the second year in succession our midfielder secured the accolade. Oh…and it pissed off Stoke fans cheering on that orc Adam's big hoof at Stamford Bridge. Not to be...
