Wenger praise for Coquelin, hints at transfer competition
Arsene Wenger has praised the performances of Francis Coquelin since his return from loan at Charlton, and says the Frenchman is a key player in his side. However, he did hint that he would remain in his plans in the event of a summer purchase in the same area. The Gunners have been linked with a host of midfield names including Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin, Lyon's Maxime Gonalons and Geoffrey Kondogbia of Monaco, but the Arsenal manager was keen to play up the quality of Coquelin's performances in the second half of the season.
