Loan Watch: Two Gunners in action
Two of our players featured for their loan clubs over the past weekend - read on to find out how they fared. David Ospina played the entirety of Napoli’s 3-1 loss to Juventus. Dries Mertens opened the scoring with a simple finish from close range, before Mario Mandzukic equalised with a towering header before half time. Mandzukic put the Old Lady in front after finishing Cristiano Ronaldo’s saved effort - and in the 76th minute, Leonardo Bonucci made it three with a tap in from a corner. Matt Macey played 90 minutes of Plymouth Argyle’s 3-2 home defeat to Doncaster Rovers. John Maqruis broke the deadlock for the Rovers, before Ruben Lameiras levelled the score with less than five...
