Arsenal Target Ilkay Gundogan Ready To Quit Borussia Dortmund
Reports are out claiming that Ilkay Gundogan is ready to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer. The German club have confirmed on Twitter that the 24-year old midfielder has rejected a contract extension on the initial deal that sees him tied to the Westfalenstadion until the summer of 2016. The Tweet read: “Borussia Dortmund midfielder @Guendogan8 will not cooperate on the 30 June 2016 addition, has decided not to renew his contract valid until that date.” That suggests that Gundogan could be sold this summer so Dortmund avoid losing him for nothing in June next year further attracting the interest of a number of clubs.
