Wilshere On New Arsenal Contract: Wenger Exit Changes Things
Jack Wilshere has provided an update on his ongoing discussions with Arsenal over a new contract and admitted that Arsene Wenger's impending exit has changed things (via Sky Sports). For months, Arsenal offering Jack Wilshere a new contract extension seemed like a mere formality but that is no longer the case. The midfielder has been locked in negotiations with the club for some time and it seems that both have reached an impasse with Wilshere's current deal set to expire in the summer.
