Arsenal to hijack Man United deal for midfielder
Arsenal have joined the race to sign Manchester United target and Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan, according to reports in the Daily Express. It was previously believed that Gundogan's move to Manchester was as good as sealed but it would seem that Arsenal have different intentions. The German defensive midfielder has yet to sign a new deal with Dortmund who would appear to have all but resigned to losing the player during the summer transfer window.
