Arsenal boosted: Dortmund chiefs show Auba ‘cold shoulder'
Arsenal have been boosted in their pursuit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Borussia Dortmund have grown tired of the ‘disturbing fires' surrounding the striker. Arsenal have identified Aubameyang as their chief transfer target this January, and have already had two bids rejected. The situation intensified on Friday after the German media accused Aubameyang's father and agent of trying to engineer a move. Sky Germany claim that Dortmund have now had enough of the entire affair, and directors Hans-Joachim Watzke and Michael Zorc are now accepting of the fact that the club might be better off if they sold the striker.
