Result: Arsenal earn North London derby bragging rights
Arsenal have moved to within one point of Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League table courtesy of a 2-0 win over their North London rivals at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez scored the goals for the Gunners, who have jumped above Liverpool into fifth, and now sit just one point off second-placed Manchester United. Offside Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil were both in the Arsenal XI, while Alexandre Lacazette led the line for a team that once again had Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka in the middle of the park.
