Arsenal news: Petr Cech surprised at incident in Man City defeat
Kevin de Bruyne put the hosts ahead on the 17th minute before Sergio Aguero added breathing space from the penalty spot. Alexander Lacazette then pulled one back as Arsenal tried to force their way back into the game. But as they were doing so Gabriel Jesus converted David Silva’s cross to restore City’s two-goal advantage 15 minutes from time, but both players were in an offside position. And when the goal was allowed to stand by referee Michael Oliver, the ex-Chelsea shot stopper believed it killed his side’s chances of getting a result from the game. GETTY
