Arsenal eying £26m January offer for Man City strike target
Arsenal are believed to be preparing a late £26million move for Altetico Madrid forward Mario Mandzukic, the Express reports.
The 28-year-old only joined the current La Liga champions in the summer but is in danger of losing his place in the starting line-up after recently signed Fernando Torres has enjoyed a successful return to the Vicente Calderón Stadium so far this month.
The Express are reporting that City were open to meeting the £26million price tag set by the Spanish side but, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger already confirming the signing of Gabriel Paulista from Villarreal, the Frenchman could now turn his attentions open to the Croatian hitman. .twitter_follow...
